This painting of a prickly pear cactus was a fun ane to do. It brought back memories of my childhood. I grew up in due west Texas where these flowering desert plants are commonplace. One doesn't actually requite much thought to them unless y'all have a personal run across with 1. Ouch! Some varieties accept really long thorns that can really hurt if you lot're non careful.
